CUMBERLAND COUNTY, NC — The Cumberland County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help in locating a missing juvenile who was reported earlier this week.

Authorities say 14-year-old Collin Griffin was reported missing on February 9, 2026. Investigators are working to determine his whereabouts and are urging anyone with information to come forward.

Collin is described as a white male with brown hair and brown eyes. He is approximately 5 feet 5 inches tall and weighs about 120 pounds. At the time he was last seen, Collin was wearing a black hoodie and black pants and was carrying a black mesh bag.

According to the sheriff’s office, Collin was last seen around 6:30 a.m. on February 9, 2026, leaving the 4700 block of Clinton Road and getting on a school bus.

Anyone with information that may help locate Collin is asked to contact Detective Lee at 910-677-5473. Tips can also be submitted anonymously by calling 910-483-8477.
