Fayetteville, NC — A high police presence was reported at the Valero gas station near the intersection of Morganton Road and McPherson Church Road as officers responded to an incident at the location.

According to witnesses on the scene, one man was taken into custody by multiple officers. Observers stated that the individual appeared to struggle with law enforcement, prompting additional officers to arrive to assist with the detainment.

During the response, officers temporarily blocked off portions of the gas station property to maintain safety for customers, employees, and motorists while the situation was brought under control.
