Hope Mills, NC — Hope Mills Police are investigating the death of a local man who was found deceased on Sunday morning.
Incident Details
At approximately 10:30 a.m., officers responded to a welfare check at a residence on the 5600 block of Islandview Drive. Upon arrival, they discovered 66-year-old Donald Roy Rutkowski deceased inside the home.
Suspect in Custody
An investigation led authorities to issue an arrest warrant for 61-year-old Tammy Lynn Rutkowski. She was apprehended outside Baltimore, Maryland, by Baltimore County Police. Tammy Rutkowski is currently being held without bond and is awaiting extradition back to North Carolina.
