Fayetteville, NC — Local families are invited to a powerful day of inspiration, connection, and fun as Kansas City Chiefs cornerback and Fayetteville native Josh Williams returns home to host the “Game Plan to Greatness” Community Day on Friday, May 16, 2025, from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Friendship Resource Community Center, located at 357 E Mountain Drive in Fayetteville.

Doors open at 2:55 PM, and the event is free to attend, but registration is required.

The community-focused event will feature a wide variety of family-friendly activities, designed to uplift and engage youth while celebrating local roots and national success. With a Super Bowl title under his belt and a deep commitment to service, Williams is using his platform to give back to the community that raised him.

Event Highlights Include:

  • Free food (while supplies last)
  • Free haircuts for youth
  • Swag bags for the first 100 kids
  • Autographs and photo ops with Josh Williams
  • Games, music, and fun for all ages

About Josh Williams:
A graduate of Jack Britt High School and Fayetteville State University, Josh Williams made history as one of the first HBCU players in recent years to be drafted into the NFL. Now a rising star and Super Bowl champion with the Kansas City Chiefs, Williams remains committed to empowering youth and inspiring the next generation of leaders in his hometown.

Important Event Guidelines:

  • Registration is required through Eventbrite
  • All children must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian age 25+
  • Signed waiver required for activity participation
  • Free parking is available at the venue
  • Clear bag policy will be enforced
  • No weapons, drugs, or alcohol permitted
