


Fayetteville, NC – The Cumberland County Sheriff’s Office is seeking the public’s assistance in locating a man wanted for questioning in connection with a homicide that occurred on March 8, 2025, in the Breezy Hill Mobile Home Park off Honeycutt Road.
Deputies responded to a shots fired call at approximately 9:55 p.m. on Pebble Street, where they discovered the victim, Laquarius Devontanious Dove, fatally wounded. The case is being actively investigated by the Sheriff’s Office Homicide Unit.
Detectives are looking to speak with William Orlando Mills Jr., age 40, who they believe may have important information relevant to the case. At this time, Mills is not facing any charges, but investigators stress that he may be able to assist in advancing the ongoing investigation.
The Sheriff’s Office continues to follow up on leads and urges anyone who has seen Mills or has knowledge of his whereabouts to come forward.
